Peristaltic pumps are designed for dosing of chemicals and viscous liquids. How it works: rollers squeezing the hose walls form an obstruction that is moving through the hose as the rollers move, at the same time section that has been previously passed, straighten up and the liquid is suctioned in the vacuum.
The main advantage of peristaltic pumps is that the transferring liquid is in contact only with the working tube, but not with the pump parts, that ensures a long service life.
